Abstract

A 13 years old boy developed shock secondary to upper gastrointestinal bleeding. He developed  cardiac arrest & survived after CPR. After stabilization, gastrointestinal endoscopy performed. It revealed a black stomach, which is a very rare appearance. He was managed at ICU. After stabilized, he discloses that he took household bleach. Approach depends on the type of injurious agent and endoscopic grading. Hence, we present the case with a review of literatures.
